What’s the difference between Standard and Extended License?
Most people will need the Standard License, you only need an extended license if you are a company or organization with multiple people using the same file.
Can I use one puppet for multiple clients?
Yes! You can use your character with a Standard License unlimited times for unlimited clients. Just remember that others can also buy and use this character.
How can I use my new puppet?
Create your own videos, social media posts, explainer videos, educational videos, or training videos. Think of your puppet as an actor or narrator in your production.
What am I NOT allowed to do with my puppet?
You may not use the character to create pornographic, obscene, defamatory, libelous, racially offensive, or sexually offensive content. You can not use the character to violate local laws, someone else’s right to privacy or infringe on another’s trademark or copyright.
Can I use the puppet for a commercial venture?
Yes! If you are running a business creating videos for hire. Just remember you may not use the characters as part of a trademark, logo or mascot for yourself or another company. If you need a character that can be trademarked, copyrighted or used as an exclusive mascot or company representative please contact our custom work department at custom@puppet-shop.com.
Can I make and then sell electronic templates like avatars, power point templates, lower thirds, greeting cards?
We do not offer a license to make any kind of electronic template that can then be resold. You can use your character to create electronic templates for personal use only.
Can I copyright or trademark this puppet?
You may not copyright or trademark any of the character designs or puppets from this website. All characters are copyrighted by the artist that designed them and all puppets are copyrighted by Puppet-Shop. If you need a character you can copyright or trademark please contact our custom work department at custom@puppet-shop.com.
Can I use the puppet as a company spokesperson or mascot?
You can use any puppet as a spokesperson, however you can not trademark them exclusively as your mascot. Remember anyone can buy the same puppet. If you need a character you can copyright or trademark please contact our custom work department at custom@puppet-shop.com.
Do I have to give attribution credit in my videos?
No, you do not have to give attribution credit in any of your productions.
